I've been working as a freelance graphic designer for over 10 years, helping businesses across Suffolk and the UK build brands they're proud of.
I started Joe Woodley Design because I wanted to do things differently. Too often, small businesses get left with generic, off-the-shelf design that doesn't really capture who they are. I wanted to offer something more personal — design that's thoughtfully crafted, properly considered, and built to last.
Most of my clients are small businesses, startups, charities, and organisations who want to look professional without the price tag of a big agency. I bring the same level of care and attention to a one-person startup as I do to an established company going through a rebrand.
I believe good design is a collaboration. That means I listen first — really listen — before I start putting pen to paper (or stylus to screen).
Every project follows a clear process: we start with a conversation to understand what you need, then I get to work on concepts for you to review. We'll refine things together until it feels exactly right. No rush, no fuss.
I'm based in Norton, near Bury St Edmunds, but I work with clients across the UK. Most projects run smoothly over email and video calls — though if you're nearby, I'm always happy to meet in person.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me exploring Suffolk's countryside with a camera in hand.
I think it's important to stay curious — it's what keeps the creative work fresh.
